The CYCLUS TOOLS chain link counter and cropping tool enables quick counting of the desired number of chain links and then quickly cuts the desired length of chain. Suitable for reel mounted bulk bicycle chain dispensers. For chain widths ranging from BMX (single-speed) to 12-speed. For fixed mounting, e.g. on a reel frame or a workbench.
Usage:
1. mount the chain link counter/cropper above the reel of chain to be dispensed.
2. insert the chain to be cut through the tools rollers and counter tooth wheel, hang the end of the chain in the front holder teeth to secure, zero the counter.
3. pull the chain through the tool and count the desired number of chain links.
4. pull down on the tool handle to push the desired chain pin out and to crop the chain to length. The chain counter/cropping tool is then immediately ready for the next use.
