CYCLUS TOOLS Tap and die for internal crank thread M24x1 | for cutting
Tap and die to create a new M24x1 internal thread into the crank. Essential requirement: an "old" cutter core hole thread M24. If this is not the case, the tool or the crank may be permanently damaged.
You can create a cutter hole core by milling out a M22x1 internal thread with the CYCLUS TOOLS milling cutter: art. 720235. When installing or removing the crank arms we highly recommend to re-tap the threads!
To achieve the best possible result with the milling cutter, we recommend using the correct/fitting guide.
Make sure that you are using the right cutting oil when milling or cutting!
