This press fit headset is suitable for bikes with a tapered 34 mm to 44 mm head tube, found on most modern titanium and steel frames, and matched to a 1 to 1 1/8 tapered fork, a feature co mmon on modern road forks, the headset is fitted with the same high-quality CeramicSpeed handmade bearings, pressed into aluminium cups that are also assembled in-house. This headset addresses compatibility with bikes using traditional style headsets, versus integrated headsets. With crisp and clean lines, the new headset is rooted in the Scandinavian design, beautifully finishing off any exclusive bike build. As per the entire CeramicSpeed Headset series, the benefits of this headset remain durability, stiffness, precision and control for the front end of the bike.
CeramicSpeed Coated Bearings
All CeramicSpeed COATED products are covered by a lifetime warranty. The unique coating is a metallic layer that covers the bearing races and makes them 75% harder than steel. Thanks to this, they are highly resistant to corrosion and the coating provides an even lower friction than our standard bearings. Even if the bearing is contaminated with degreaser, water or mud, the risk of bearing failure due to corrosion is negligible if you choose the coated version.
