Super-safe through the city streets: the UVEX city i-vo MIPS is the logical successor to one of the best-selling UVEX helmets and affords additional protection against rotational forces in the event of an accident. Good is now even better – the UVEX city i-vo MIPS brings even more safety onto the cycle track. Fitted with the Multi Impact Protection System (MIPS), this sporty city helmet impresses with additional protection against the rotational forces that may occur in a crash. If MIPS is to function properly, the helmet simply must fit perfectly. This is why the UVEX city i-vo is equipped with the 3D IAS-System to allow optimum adjustment in height and width. Keeping the riders head pleasantly cool even on long trips are 24 ventilation channels. The safety package also includes an integrated plug-in LED as well as reflective straps and logos.

Technology
MIPS – An angled impact generates rotational movements that can cause serious injuries. The MIPS system can reduce the rotational movements and thus reduce the risk of brain damage.
Inmould shell – Protective EPS material is foamed directly into the polycarbonate shell. This technology allows to create a lightweight helmet with highest impact resistance. Perfect fusion of EPS inner layer and polycarbonate outer layer. EPS is a material, which contains microscopic air chambers. They effectively absorb the impact forces created in a fall.
VENT PADS – Interior features significantly affect a helmets comfort. The Vent Pads consists of high quality moisture wicking material with embossed ventilation channels. They are comfortable and soft on the skin, dry quickly, are removable and washable.
MONOMATIC – Multi-stage and anatomically shaped uvexs monomatic comfort closure opens and closes at the touch of a button, with just one hand. The chin strap always sits perfectly.
FAS straps – Fast Adapting System webbing can be easily and continuously tailored to your exact head shape. The helmet stays securely on the head in all situations and the webbing straps are always in the best position. Y-divider provides individual adjustment options – and a secure, comfortable fit.
3D IAS 3.0 – This adjustment system enables an optimum adaptation to the head. Over an easy-to-use wheel at the rear of the helmet it works within a few seconds. For an optimum fit and secure protection from falls the 3D IAS 3.0 offers width and height adjustment, to adapt flexibly to individual head-shape. Moreover, it features light and well ventilated IAS adjustment headband.
Please measure your head circumference to get the right helmet size. Recommended to measure with a measuring tape or a rope about 1.5cm above the ears.
